I had an excellent 6-night stay at Magnini Rooms. The location is great--it is very close to the train station and within walking distance of just about everything you want to see, but despite the bustle outside it is very quiet. There are plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The in-room snacks and drinks were very welcome, as was the coffee in reception. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. This is a very small hotel and there is no 24-hour reception, but the woman who welcomed me the evening I checked in was very friendly and helpful.
A few caveats and clarifications that might help someone:
The hotel is on the third floor and the elevator did not seem to be working. This was not a problem for me, but might be for some people. I stayed in a comfort room, which was beautiful and super clean, but there was not a separate seating area as specified in the description. Again, not a problem for me, but just be aware. Finally, the wifi was generally good, but was spotty at times. It worked great in the lobby area, though.
I would definitely stay here again!
