Moises was amazing and we had a smooth check in. We enjoyed the different areas of the resort - foot reflexology, spa & holistic treatment, the cabanas with fire pit. The restaurant staff was fabulous, we had one vegetarian in our group, the chef accommodated her request. Great service & food was delicious! We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Montevalle Resort & Spa.

Hidden gem, full serenity & relaxation!

This place was such a hidden gem, absolutely stunning grounds, warm service from everyone we encountered. It still has the feel of a very private space, well being centrally located to all the great wineries and restaurants in Valle. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting

Absolutely gorgeous property. Relatively new so everything was spotless. The cabins had the most incredible views and comfortable king beds. The spa eas well equipped with state of the art therapy treatments although my massage was cold - heated table or thicker blanket would’ve resolved this but my masseuse did not understand English too well. We relaxed at the pool which was lovely but it would’ve been even better if someone had served drinks/snacks from the restaurant. Overall a fabulous experience with just a few minor tweaks to make it perfect. Can’t wait to go again!

My Montevalle Experience with Chef AiKo

I had an incredible stay at Montevalle. From the moment I arrived, it was exactly the recharge I needed. The new chef, Ai Ko, is a star. I had a different breakfast each morning, dinner one night, afternoon snack one day, and even dessert with wine at sunset, every bite was delicious. My wellness package was next-level. I tried IV infusions for detox, energy, and immunity, first time ever, and I felt great. I also did the hyperbaric oxygen chamber and got a massage. Every service was done perfectly. The pool is heated, the villas are spacious and private, and the staff made sure I was always comfortable, breakfast to my room, wine by the pool. One morning, I watched an alpha quail guarding his covey from the restaurant terrace. Great food, real wellness, beautiful surroundings, and top service. I always go back

Best Hidden Secret In Valle De Guadalupe

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The staff was amazing at check in and we even enjoyed the bike ride to our room. I loved the fresh smell of lavender in our room. We loved our bed so much it was so hard to get up because it was so comfortable! The view was so beautiful on our patio. We enjoyed the gourmet coffee, the spa, pool and jacuzzi! We did not want to check out! We will definitely come back as soon as we can! A must stay if your looking to recenter yourself and spend a lovely intimate and peaceful vacation away from home!

Comfortable stay need to improve their amenities

Montevalle was a beautiful property! The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Other amenities like the pool & jacuzzi is well maintained. Service at the restaurant and reception was great! They call themselves a Wellness resort but it was cumbersome to book a massage online. Only packages are listed & not individual massages. We had booked two massages online but when we checked in they told us that it’s not shown on the system. We booked for next day only to be canceled again. Need to improve these services & amenities to really call it a Wellness Resort.

The property is indeed beautiful. It was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking around the grounds. It is nicely landscaped and we were hoping it would be a nice retreat. Why are we giving a 3 start: from the moment we got there, we felt pressure from the staff to purchase services like a massage, wine, and dining there. They even called at 9 am the next morning to make sure I took the 10 am massage even though I clearly did not agree to it. Then there was no hot water. We literarily showered with ice-cold water, even after I reported it. Finally, I noticed I paid more than what I agreed to pay via Orbitz (Expedia). The front desk person was very apologetic and gracefully, changed the charges, so thank you for that. However, we won't be returning there.

The property is beautiful and extremely private giving you a serene and peaceful retreat. In addition to that, the amenities will blow you away. The cherry on top is the wonderful service of every single staff member. They were very attentive, prompt, and accommodating to each requests.
