We stayed for two nights and checked in on a Sunday. Unfortunately, there was no one on site at check-in and no one answered the phone initially. We were very lucky that other guests happened to arrive and let us in, allowing us to find the key ourselves. Without their help, we would have been completely stuck.
The room itself was fine. It was tidy, comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. However, after returning around 9pm on our first evening, we discovered there was no hot water. Despite pressing the boost button on the cylinder, the hot water quickly ran out, meaning three out of four of us were unable to shower properly.
Repeated attempts to contact support that evening were unsuccessful, which was extremely frustrating, especially as we were travelling with a one-year-old child.
The following morning, we finally met a member of staff. They were genuinely very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, by that point the experience had already been disappointing. We were told that hot water is only available between 4am and 10am, and 4pm and 10pm.
We made sure to return earlier that evening. However, once again there was no hot water. This time, after eventually reaching a staff member, we were given access to a neighbouring room so we could shower, which helped us get through the night.
Overall, the property itself is nice and suitable for families, and the staff we met were kind and approachable. However, the lack of clear instructions, is deadly.
