Our stay at the Villa Lara was glorious! From its beautiful surroundings, lovely rooms and majestic views, this hotel stunned and delighted us. The service and staff were excellent; Valeria was so responsive and Tomaso was an incredible host; the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the staff does an excellent job communicating with you and making sure your transportation is set up. Villa Lara is a quiet little place about 10 minutes from the bustling downtown area of Amalfi. It has a beautiful view of the coast and of the beautiful mountains. The outdoor patio is a perfect place to sit in the mornings to enjoy some peace and the quietness of the coast. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel like you are a part of their family.

Villa Lara hotel is a little hidden gem. It’s a few minutes walk to all the restaurants, ferries and buses. If you want your trip to the Amalfi coast to be special then definitely book a stay here. The hotel has a personal touch with great advice on where to visit and how to get there. Capri and Ravello were a family favourite! Tommaso, Valeria, Nello and Anna Maria make you feel like it’s a home away from home. The rooms were all cleaned beautifully every day. We stayed for 8 days and loved every single moment, We are a family of 4. 10/10 all the way.

My wife and I stayed at Villa Lara for 5 days in early October 2024 and it was a fantastic visit. The owner and staff were outstanding - very helpful with questions about local attractions, restaurants and transportation. The Villa is very clean, the breakfasts were excellent and the view from the Villa's balcony/breakfast area was stunning. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.
