It’s old, but has all the modern amenities we expect from any hotel. It’s very well located, only 100 meters from the famous Ponte Vecchio (and 50 meters from Palazzo Pitti). Employees are very nice and helpful.

Location is ideal. I walked over 15 miles a day. I recommend you just wander around and get lost. Then you turn a corner and find yourself in front of a major monument or some hidden spot that connects you to your heritage.

Dont stay at this place. While the room itself wasn't that bad, the entry door is a barred prison style door. The entry to the building is dark, dirty and downright scary; particularly at night. Hotels.com should be ashamed to be affiliated with this place

This is a great bargain in Florence, terrific location. Part of the Hotel La Scaletta, a 4 star hotel, across the street. Not 4 star itself, but very comfortable and well maintained, with great service. Would recommend it to anyone spending time in Florence. That side of the Arno, the Oltrano, is a welcome break from the craziness across the river!
