Everyone in this hotel went way out of the way to make me feel welcome. They were kind, helpful, generous, and the hotel is beautiful. Charming, well located, and affordable. The staff was exceptional! It is a quaint hotel tucked away in a quiet area of Assisi. It is located right in the heart of the historic center. You can get anywhere by walking in just 15-20 minutes. Driving a vehicle makes it difficult to access the hotel because of restricted driving zones. However, we called the hotel and the staff not only gave us specific directions and came to the area to get our luggage. Eduardo then provided explicit directions to the parking garage and finally recommended and made reservations for dinner at a great restaurant. What could have been a stressful situation with the driving was handled with professionalism and perfection and made our stay extremely pleasant.

A lovely hotel in the heart of Assisi. Best location one can imagine. Great service, full (Italian) breakfast including coffee options. Beds are firm/hard, but for us that was ok. Showers are small, typical of Italy. Highly recommend!

Feels like home, excellent service

We stayed here 5 years ago, and wanted to stay at Hotel Pax again. Grace and her father (the owners) treat you like family, and are so helpful, friendly and kind. They were very accomodating in allowing us to drop off luggage early before check-in, had great restaurant suggestions when asked, and even helped us find a store to buy some walking sticks when my daughter hurt her foot. I would highly recommend this place.

We liked the excellent service provided by the owners of Hotel Pax, especially by Grace and Antonio. Their restaurant Ristorante Medoevo, just around the corner, was wonderful as well. What we didn't like was that there wasn't a Do Not Disturb sign, no tissues provided in the room, and only one wastebasket in the large suite.
