Breakfast fare / spread was excellent. This is a lovely hotel w very efficient staff manning the front office and kitchen. However, the downsides: no kitchen for lunch or dinner. The eateries and shops are far away, although there is one eatery quite nearby, requiring one to walk out a bit. So, if one is ok w walking for quite a distance ( like me, ok, but it was cold outside!) or one has a car/ transport, this is indeed the right place. For me, despite the cold, I enjoyed the long walk on cobbled pavements, and the very courteous and super efficient young crew manning the front office and kitchen. Crew members like Jaoa ( from front office, and anor João ( kitchen), Stephanie, Lina, Daniela need special mention. They were all extremely helpful in so many ways incl directions. I will surely return on a repeat visit- soon.
