We arrived at the Locale the Gulch ( now the Mint House Nashville) on July 25th, 2025. The first issue we ran into was the entrance to the building, which is through the garage for some reason. As we walked up to the door, the smell of garbage and urine made a terrible first impression and made the space feel neglected and unsanitary. There were strange stains throughout the garage and I can only assume some of it was from people letting their dogs relieve themselves right outside the entrance door (see photo with blue wall).
Once we did get into our suite, I Immediately noticed the dirty condition of the floors in the small kitchen area. Absolutely filthy, I took a paper towel, wiped a small corner and it came up black with dirt and bits of food - Clearly no one bothered to clean properly before our arrival. It was disgusting and unacceptable, we considered leaving and staying elsewhere but it was late and we were tired. If basic hygiene was not being taken care of, it makes me wonder what else was being neglected. The walls in the kitchen were also dirty and had not been cleaned in a while, and the carpet in the walk in closet had all sorts of random stains. Then there was also the black mold in the shower. After a text or two to the management team, they did send someone back the next day to do a better clean the next day.
Pool is fantastic and the location is great.
