La chambre (récemment rénovée il me semble) était impeccable (félicitations aux femmes de chambre), le personnel efficace, accueillant et de bon conseil, et le petit déjeuner très correct. La chambre était plutôt petit, mais on est à Paris. J'avais des mauvais souvenirs des hôtels autour de la gare de l'Est de l'époque (ancienne) ou j'y aller pour le travail, mais je retournerai très certainement au NH Paris gare de l'Est.

Great overnight stay

We stayed at the hotel for one night as a stopover. It was great for this. Although our room was small it was clean, bright, quiet and cool (it was very hot outside!). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was squeaky clean.

We booked here because it is across the street from the Gare de l'Est, from which we were taking an early train the next day. The desk staff were friendly and efficient, the room was spacious, immaculate and well equipped, and the hotel's front door is 100 feet from a metro station, with places close by to eat. The hotel was undergoing interior renovations on the lower floor, but the staff took pains to contain the noise and the dust. Everything was clean and we could hear no noise in our room. Checkout was easy. I would stay here again.
