Our room was small and quite dated, with furnishings that appeared to be from a second-hand store, though the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had missing tiles and outdated fixtures, though the shower itself was good. On the positive side, the hotel was in a great location, close to the underground, shops, and restaurants."

The young lady at reception was superb. I arrived early on check-in day, left my bag, and went out to do some things in London. When I came back in the afternoon, she had already taken my bag up to my room on the top floor (there’s no lift). She didn’t just give me a room number and a key, but walked all the way up to the room to show it to me.

Fantastic location and very friendly staff, just a two minute walk to Notting Hill Underground station. Surrounding area had lots of shops and cafes. The bathrooms might need an update but apart from that a very pleasant stay.

Overall it was a nice space. Sara welcomed me and was very helpful and got me into my room with no issues. Overall it was a cozy space. It was a little on the smaller side, but was decent. Some of the aspects of the bathroom, like the shower, was a little finicky, but worked decently.

Great location right off the Notting Hill tube stop! Very friendly reception staff. Room was comfortable for a solo traveler. Main improvement feedback would be the bathroom - it could be more functional. The shower head is too heavy to stay at a useful angle, and the separate cold/hot faucets on the sink while perhaps charming make it difficult to achieve warm water.

This hotel is a very good solution if you want to spend some days in a quiet but central área. Walking diatant from Portobello and the park. You have to ask for housekeeping, and if you don't, the room will not be cleaned.

Pemberton Gardens jewel

If you were visiting your eccentric great aunt in Pemberton Gardens it would feel as cozy and comfortable as this place. Sure,there are fancier hotels just down the streer but the people who work here are lovely and kind and it just feels like home. Special mention to the considerate and competant front desk person who remembers me from last year and asks if i need to refridgerate my meds again without me saying a word.She remembered!! Unbelievable! Also,the location is great!! Close to Hyde Park, Notting Hill and Portobello Rd.
