We stayed in a "River" queen cabin for our anniversary weekend. The "river" is technically accurate as they are the closest rooms to the Rogue River, but they are actually along a creek that runs in front of a wooded area before you get to the river (small distance, and can still hear the river) - just a small clarification. That said, the whole property is very quiet, peaceful and beautiful! The breakfast & appetizers they provide for free are way above the normal free breakfast hotels provide. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was large, with the bed facing a pair of windows and door that led out onto a private balcony facing the creek/river and provided a nice peaceful setting and great view into the woods, while still providing privacy. There was a seating area in front of the fireplace in the room (which we didn't use because it was hot, but would LOVE in the winter or colder spring/fall evenings). The room had AC which was great for the warm weather.
They have seating areas outside between the main lodge and the cabins, which were comfortable and relaxing, and a nice fire pit area off the side of the deck from the main lodge.
Absolutely loved this place, and will definitely make return trips here in the future.
