Terrible service from both Hotels .com and Waldorf
I called “hotels.com” in a hurry as my plane from JFK, was going to miss the connection in ATL. Reserved and paid in full no refundable the room.
Called the hotel, told the front desk I may be arriving 2,3 hours from when I reserved, so around 1-2am.
As it happened I was able to make my connection, but a couple sitting next to me in the plane was stuck in ATL. for the night.
I offered my room, called the front desk but was told they couldn’t change the guests, and I had to call Hotels.com to do so.
I had a virtual conversation with a rep from Hotels.com, Le Tam Lien, who after 1-2 hr trying to resolved said they could not change the guest because I was a “no-show”.
So you guys are not able to resolve little issues, but are happy to take my money.
I will NEVER go to your site again to book anything.
And as far as I’m concerned Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Buckhead ATL, hasn’t the slightest idea of what courtesy and welcome is, after I had spoken to them and explained I would be arriving very late.
I won’t write here the words that come to mind.
