Several issues negatively impacted my experience:
- The in-room refrigerator was excessively noisy, disrupting my sleep throughout the night.
- I called the front desk in the morning to request either a repair or a room change. I was told that mechanical staff could check the unit, but no one ever came, and no alternative room was offered.
- Only on the first night were two complimentary water bottles provided. After that, no water was offered regardless of the length of stay. In other hotels, bottled water is consistently available, but here I was told “nothing is free” and had to argue with staff just to receive basic amenities.
- During this exchange, the front desk staff member identified herself as the manager, though the posted signage listed Matt as the manager. This inconsistency added to the confusion and frustration.
Overall, the lack of follow-through and poor customer service fell short of the standards I expect from Hilton properties.
