This is a special hotel , staff can’t do enough for you . Is outside of Sorrento on hill however hotel provides shuttle bus and bus stop just outside hotel, never struggled with getting around Fantastic village sant Agata 10 minute walk from hotel bars with restaurants and Orlando must visit . . Manage to do Capri, Positano, Pompei and Sorrento all from this location . Only negative for me was bed too hard .

Grand Hermitage Hotel was the definitely the perfect choice for us. The hotel decor is a bit dated as you can clearly see in the photos but the rooms are kept pretty clean and the view from the room was outstanding. I would choose this hotel for that view over and over again. Considering this view, it is a bit of a distance from Sorrento so you have to plan for that bit of travel time and cost in your planning. We stayed in room 603 of the Villa Rosita. The room was emaculate with a beautiful view of the bay and Mt. Vesuvius. The hotel staff and dining service was perfect. They helped arrange local boating tour and a local lemon and olive farm dining experience. The shuttle to Sorrento is awesome for shopping and dinning in town. It is beautiful view with quiet mountain villa vibe. 100% satisfied.
