The room and bathroom were clean and the housekeeper was very helpful and friendly. However, I requested a room downstairs, due to a recent injury, and I was told in an email that I would be given a room on the first floor since the hotel doesn’t have an elevator. We checked in around 8pm and all they had for us was a room upstairs. Not happy. The room description included a patio or “balcony”, but the balcony was so tiny you couldn’t even fit one chair on it. We were given a room with a vinyl futon “bed”, but they didn’t provide any bedding for it. When we asked at the front desk, we were told they didn’t have any extra sheets! What kind of a hotel doesn’t have sheets??!! Instead they gave us one very thin, stained blanket, which obviously no one wanted to use. The beds had worn out mattress toppers that were higher in the middle and sagging on the sides, so we were constantly trying to keep ourselves from rolling off the bed. The bathroom light fixture was loose and hanging from the ceiling. And twice we had to go down the stairs to the front desk to reprogram our keys because they wouldn’t open the door. The walls were thin enough to hear the conversation next door, which went on late into the night, so nobody slept well. We will never stay at this hotel again.
