I stayed for 5 days and my room was only cleaned once. I was told that they don’t clean rooms on the weekend and then I was told I have to request a cleaning. However, I requested bed changing on Sunday and was told it would happen, but I had to change my own sheets on Sunday night. I had to ask for new towels and was told to put the old ones outside and they would bring new ones, but it did not happen. The sink stopper was broken and the faucet moved. The one day they did clean the room, they didn’t give me any soap.
This was the worse stay in a hotel that was a part of a legitimate chain. The breakfast was not as depicted in the pictures and on Saturday, they started putting the food away at 9:30, when it was supposed to end at 10. About half of the staff were excellent and the other half had attitudes and broke their word. The only reason I didn’t change hotels is that I was traveling for work and was too busy to try to make a move. I just reverted to my military mode and roughed it out, but I shouldn’t have to do that. I need at least a partial refund for this horrible experience. I almost forgot about the hair on the tub wall, the first night went to take a bath. And the hair in the sink, after they supposedly cleaned the room. And the roach in the stairwell.
