Kiva pieni huone ja hyvä WC/suihku. Ikkuna avautui kävelykadun suuntaan siten mukava maisema. Hotellin hissi pieni, mutta hyvä että on. Hotellilla on alennus auton parkkeeraamisen mutta ensin on käytävä kirjautumassa vaikka lähelle ei autoa pysty edes hetkeksi pysäyttämään. Tässä iso haaste jos olet yksin auton kanssa liikkeelle.

Un hotel très sympathique, très bien situé, une chambre de bonne taille et propre. Seuls petits bémols, le matelas était déformé et le lit pas très large et il comme il n’y avait pas de volet ou rideaux occultants à la salle de bain il fallait faire attentionà la visibilité.

Room 309 faced the Main Street with a bus stop in front and tram a 3-minute walk. Round the corner began the large, wide pedestrian shopping walkway with tram lines. Room was wide enough to walk around bed, had desk/chair with exposed closet. Bathroom smaller than a horse stall yet modern and functional. Did not eat breakfast here. Location beats all.

The hotel was well located in the city centre and close to everything also close to the trams if needed. The room was clean with nice amenities and the breakfast generous. Reception and breakfast employees was very nice and helpful. If you’re sensitive to noise bring earplugs, some noise from the street could be heard.

Certains commentaires qualifieraient notre chambre de petite. Nous ajouterions la précision suivante: ''Petit BIJOU''. Pour notre bonheur, notre chambre étant située sur un coin, nos deux fenêtres donnaient chacune, sur une artère principale. L’accueil avec Stéphanie fut très chaleureux. L’hôtel est parfaitement situé à proximité des centres d’intérêts et du tramway. Bons restaurants près de l’hôtel. Pour le bruit, on ferme les fenêtres et tout devient calme. Nous recommandons cet hôtel.

Nous "passions" à Bordeaux en "descendons" dans le sud ; nous avons habité plusieurs années dans la ville, et cela a été un grand plaisir de passer une nuit dans cet hôtel sympathique dont la position plutôt centrale nous a permis de parcourir et retrouver nombre de rues et ambiances dont nous gardons une belle image...

QUIRKY BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN THE HEART OF BORDEAUX

The location of this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It’s at the top of the best shopping street in town and it goes all the way to the river. It’s inside an historic building that’s been refurbished resulting in some small and strangely shaped rooms. I booked for only two nights but ended up staying four very comfortably. My room was a single which, unfortunately meant a single bed. Due to the shape of the room it made sense but I think a double up against the wall would have fit easily enough. While I slept well, I’ll check the booking more carefully next time. There was a work desk, luggage rack, open wardrobe, TV, free WiFi and kettle with tea & coffee. There was a delightful view from the opening, full length windows. The washroom was small but efficient. The shower was good, the toiletries good quality and the towels were soft. The receptionists were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast is available onsite for a fee. Complimentary coffee was available all day from the machine in the lobby and, in the morning, pastries were also on offer. I walked everywhere easily, with public transport and many restaurants and shops nearby. This was a great base for my first time in Bordeaux and I would stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Parking is available across from the hotel but must be reserved in advance through the hotel to benefit from a preferential rate. The property is very well located for sightseeing. The rooms are well equipped, with large and pleasant windows. The only downside was the odor in the reception area, which the staff explained has persisted since the most recent renovations. We also noticed it slightly on the second floor and purchased an air freshener to make our stay more comfortable. Over the course of our stay, we grew accustomed to keeping the windows open, which was quite pleasant during this beautiful month of October.
