It was wierd coming to a hotel with no check-in staff or desk. Thankfully my log-in worked. My only real complaints would be that the walls are too thin, in that there was too much outside noise to contend with. Also, better directions with parking.

Did not see any staff, it was a quick stay came in late and left early. My biggest concern was the door was wide open and many people coming and going. So there was no code to enter and right across from casino, made me feel uncomfortable. But room was nice. The bathroom code was not activated so anyone could use it, I was not at ease.

Amazing bed, beautiful interior of the building and our room. Convenient bars located below our room. Check-in/out was seamless. Parking was easy, used the ramp northwest across the street. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

If you get assigned a room on the 1st floor, you'll have to share a bathroom with 3 other people. There was a terrible noise that made it difficult to sleep.

No front desk and no one to talk to, so come prepared to guess your way in, look in your spam folder for a "link" you may have received from the property management with check-in instructions. Great location and attached lounge and speakeasy businesses. Adult sophisticated vibe worked well. Room felt unfinished, lacked a lot of things, like desk, chairs, luggage stand, towel hooks/hangers. Coffee machine, microwave, and fridge were laughable. However the room was clean, bathroom was spacious, theres lots of natural light and although it is downtown rooms were very quiet.

I don’t know what people actually like in this “hotel” , its actually type of hostel style and more likely apt rental company. They have own rules( whichever actually should be fine) if its explained well and clearly, but either way its not explained as should be, also its not convenience for customers. Check in is 16:00 pm not early any minute. Checkout 10:00 am no delay, no exceptions nothing. No extra 1 minute ))) A bit strange and not for any comfort for customers. If you need early check in +25$ , if you need late check out extra 25$ . Huh, it seems they specifically determined that time to rob customers. No parking . If you need parking you have to pay for it and you have to find out ramp. Well: building is old which may have some own attractions but its nasty and seems like ghost house, my room seemed clean until I found hairs in my bed. Carpets totally dirty. Maybe not washed loong time. And main thing: its sooo overpriced. If you find this hotel less 50$ and have no option just for 1 night maybe you go, but doesn’t worth to book it any other situations. Stay away from Oliver inn. Also Outside is so noisy all the night. Those people who run this business have no idea how to satisfy customers. They just count some profits maybe. I was in Hotel business in many years andI travel and stay usually many places, everything happens with hotel, rooms, staff, customers, everything could be understandable, but such negligence like this “hotel” never seen.

This was a wonderful and cozy hotel with a "Speakeasy Vibe". The room was comfortable and clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the communication was on point. I woild absolutely stay again when in Duluth. The only negative is that the surrounding area is pretty rough looking and parking can be a challenge.

I will definitely stay with The Oliver Inn again. It has a unique charm with each room that makes you feel like you're staying in a home. The room was clean and the building was quiet. I used the sauna which was a nice amenity. For no staff on sight, they promptly responded to my texts. I accidentally forgot to text about on time check in and they were very understanding. Great place to stay!
