We did two stays at this hotel either side of a 5 day boat trip in Tanjung Puting. The rooms were great and the staff were excellent, particularly the waitresses in the restaurant who were super helpful. Was a great place to reposition before and after the jungle.

Beautiful hotel with poor service

The hotel facilities are excellent. Comfortable room, great spa, wonderful breakfast options. But… service is poor. Room service is excruciatingly slow. We had to call three times for a beer. Service at breakfast is sloppy. Twenty minutes after we arrived, we had finished eating and coffee was still missing. We claimed twice but staff were joking next to the coffee machines. Only when their boss intervened did they start making it. Still, there are not many options in Pankalang Bun. If only they trained their staff better it would be a great choice.

Greeted with warm reception and cold drinks! New property, clean and modern. We mistakenly went to dinner right as they closed (we did not know the hours) but they sat us with no questions. Because the food took a little longer (the kitchen had actually closed already) they gave us a complimentary dessert because we had to wait - even though it was our own fault for not knowing the hours.

Property was wonderful but out of place for the space around it. Room, food, and service was excellent. The included breakfast was the largest spread of food I’ve ever seen. Couples massage was outstanding and incredibly affordable. Pool was lovely. It was safe to explore, we walked all over but there is nothing similar to the level of this hotel around.

I would love to give this VERY nice hotel 5 stars, but guests should be aware there is a LOUD mosque nearby and it was impossible to sleep after 0430. We were in room 101 which i think was literally the closest room to the mosque so maybe ask fir a room on the other side of the hotel

Good, except sigarette smell in room

In general a very good hotel. Would have given it a better review if it hadnt been for the smell of sigarettes in the room (supposedly smoke free room). We asked for a different room which they would not give us. They said they would clean the room more (however, smell of sigarettes cannot be removed by simple cleaning).

They couldn’t find our booking (we booked a few months ago) and they telling us they are fully booked, after a stressful 2,5 hours we finally heard we could stay in the room we paid for. No sorry or a drink for the inconvenience. They made that mistake. Room was poor and dusty. The entrance makes you think it’s very luxurious and well managed…hopefully the service will be at that level one day as well…

Sehr gutes Hotel, nahe zu ein paar einfachen Warungs und dem Ort. Irgendwie ist das Hotel zu groß für diese Gegend dimensioniert, aber sehr komfortabel dort zu wohnen. Vielfältiges Frühstücksbüffet und hübscher Pool, schöne Zimmer. Der Übernachtungspreis inkl. Frühstück war sehr günstig, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, allerdings muss für early check-in extra bezahlt werden. Nach kleiner Diskussion musste unser 10 jähriger Sohn nichts fürs Frühstücksbüffet bezahlen. Alles bestens, würden gern wieder dort wohnen. Würden wieder hier übernachten.

Gute Zimmergrösse, bequeme Betten. Die Massage war sehr gut Das Ankommen und der Check in waren leider nicht sehr angenehm. Das Gepäck durften wir selbst durch den "Sicherheitscheck" bis zur Rezeption schleppen, wobei uns ein Angestellter dabei zusah. An der Rezeption wurde gleich meine Kreditkarte gefordert um 300.000 IDR als Deposit zu blocken. Dann wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass das Zimmer lt. Hotelrichtlinie erst um 14.00 Uhr beziehbar sei (lt. Hotels.com um 12.00 Uhr) - wir waren um 12.30 Uhr vor Ort Nachdem wir um 14.00 Uhr wieder zum Hotel zurückkamen, wurden wir im Rezeptionsbereich wieder erfolgreich ignoriert. Erst nachdem wir unser - zuvor selbst deponiertes Gepäck - auf einen Gepäckwagen geladen hatten, kam Bewegung auf. Wir wurden aufgeklärt, das nicht selbst machen zu müssen - es würde uns jemand helfen. Mein Kommentar, davon bislang nichts bemerkt zu haben wurde übergangen. Erneut wurden 300.000 IDR eingefordert - diesmal als Deposit auf meine Kreditkarte? Wir bekamen dann unsere Zimmerkarten, einen Voucher für ein Begrüssungsgetränk, darüber hinaus aber keine grossen Erklärungen (wo befindet sich der Pool, Spa.....) Unser selbst verladenes Gepäck wurde dann von einem sehr netten Mann auf unser Zimmer gefahren und dort abgeladen Im Poolbereich gibt es ausser den 4 Liegen (die man auf den Fotos sieht) und die sich auch IM Pool befinden ausser einem grosszügigen Sitzbereich keine weiteren Liegen
