This is a very nice stay in the heart of grasmere Small but nice spa Food quality was excellent Was able to charge my car Gardens were very nice It would be great to have better fans or air con in the rooms. Also to expand the spa in future years.

Always a lovely stay at this hotel; small and personal with very attentive staff. The spa is a great addition and the grounds are lovely. The restaurant menu is limited for vegetarians and this is my only critique, other than the surcharge for parking which felt a little like an upsell. Nonetheless, I will be back!

We have absolutely loved our stay. The area is beautiful, the hotel is quiet, pretty and boasts amazing views of the area from all Points of the hotel. Really enjoyable stay at the Rothay Garden Hotel. Room spotless as were all amenities and food in the restaurant excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Hope to return next year.

Nice Hotel

We had free upgrade room 16 . Room had nice view of the garden from the balcony. The room was a bit tired.furniture had a few knocks and the bathroom had mold on bath and tiles. Nice touch with free gin in the room. The staff very friendly but on the Sunday needed extra staff. The spa was nice and clean. The restaurant was nice and staff good service. Breakfast was good. Just disappointed you have to pay for car parking

I loved the Rothay Garden. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Excellent food for breakfast and dinner plus lunch from the bar. My room was lovely, overlooking the river with a balcony. Comfy bed and really nice linens which is important to me! All positive, I would highly recommend and I’d love to return. Thank you!
