Great hotel with an unbeatable location. The buildings are hundreds of years old but in remarkably good condition and beautifully updated. You can even take a water taxi straight to the back door — no need to drag your suitcases over stairways!

My only watch out is the Bar on rooftop. It can be quite loud on weekend nights and the elevators fill up quickly with all the folks going up and down. We used the stairs and made it work. The location is so perfect for everything we did - you can't go wrong. We had a King size bed - and it was hard as a rock. Being American, it hurt :) , but at the end of the day, a beautiful hotel and location. BREAKFAST WAS PERFECT! Amazing view of the Acropolis and Parthenon specifically. Staff was so nice to us every morning. Upon check-in, the hostess (can't remember her name) was training a younger crew member and gave us awesome tips and a great tapas style local restaurant recommendation in the area. She was so helpful and made us feel confident that we chose the right hotel!!! Thank you for helping us!! Until next time!! :)

Broken toilet , loud music every night

The sink was leaking on day 1, the bathroom floor was covered in sewer water, and I lost a whole day of my trip because I couldnt get ready for my day. The rooftop bar advertised on the listing is not part of the property. I got a seat at this place, and the chair collapsed into the deck and I fell on my back. Every night they have loud DJ music playing on the rooftop till midnight, the noise sinks into the room and made it hard to sleep. The breakfast onsite was crap and I regret paying for it. The coffee machine didn't have any milk, the pastries were terrible.

Location, location, location

Hotel was absolute best location for night life, transportation and shopping. Great view from room of the Acropolis, woke up to that every morning! Rooftop Hyper Astrobar was excellent.

A central, average hotel with noise.

The hotel is at a very central location, but at the inconvenience of noise. There is a club in the top floor at night and not the best soundproofing of the windows and doors. That being said it was manageable, but I would stay away if you are sound sensitive. The security and fire doors between floors did not automatically close. They were open every time we passed, adding to the noise and reducing the sense of security. It is also a potential fire hazard, which I addressed with the hotel. Breakfast buffet was average, but had a nice view of Acropolis. The experience could have been a lot better with some relatively minor improvements. I would say the experience did not match the cost of the stay.

Loved this hotel and location!

Great location in the bustling Monastiraki neighborhood. It was a very doable walk to the changing of the guard, Plaka steps, Acropolis, many dinings/shopping areas. The staff (Chris, Petros, Lena & Angela….hope I spelled correctly) were friendly and fabulous! They suggested and made dinner reservations for us. They also arranged transportation from cruise port and to airport for us. Loved our view (from room & restaurant) of Athens especially the Acropolis. Also, loved the easy access to the Hyper Astro (rooftop) Bar & Restaurant. Our server (another Chris) was also very welcoming, friendly and accommodating with a gluten allergy. The restaurant and neighborhood was very busy and a little loud on Friday night, but didn’t keep us from sleeping (3rd floor room). I ended up booking 2 rooms for our family of four, but the rooms were very spacious. Could’ve made do with one room if necessary. We paid for breakfast! It was great with a lot of hot and cold food options. Well worth it. We would definitely stay again! Loved this hotel and location!

Breathtaking View

This was the last stop on our vacation. We arrived on the metro from the port and while it was very close, it was a little tricky to find because the entrance is through a hallway between other businesses. However, when we walked into our room, our jaws dropped! The view of the acropolis was outstanding! The town square was right below us, so we had many dining options. Our flight was very early the next morning, so after dinner, we retired to our room and watched dancing in the square below as the sun set and the acropolis lit up. We sipped the provided wine and relaxed, staring out the window until bed. The hotel arranged a car to take us to the airport in the morning, and it was there right on time. The hotel staff even made us a bagged breakfast to-go since we were leaving before breakfast hours. We didnt spend a lot of time in Athens, but this hotel was the perfect choice to take it all in before going home.
