the services had a good array of food outlets that you would expect at a Motorway Service location we had to pay £5.00 to park overnight which is a new additional charge there was poor hot water and at best tepid but the hotel is getting a refurbishment at the moment

This has to be the Noisiest Hotel I ever have stayed in and won't be back there again from the moment I checked in I was in Room 218 terrible room grubby wooden floor poorly decorated but the issue is the noise from the Lorry wagon park next to the room window With Refrigeration Wagons and Trucks coming and going all night the noise is terrible then someone chapping my room door 🚪 and running away I thought it was school days then when I did fall asleep the Fire Alarm 🚨 went off so spoke with Reception in the Morning a nice lady called Lulu said she would move me room no issues or so I thought when I arrived at 5pm the Guy on Reception never had a Clue about me what room I was supposed to be in and I was hanging about for 15 mins until it got Sorted and Yes room 205 was a much much better room but each night car alarms going off in the Car park People under my window Smoking Shouting and Arguing and the Noise from the M1 motorway Vibrates through the crap room window . I was so glad the week was over and next week I will be going somewhere else . I would never recommend Days inn at this Location Not only because It's the First time I have been charged £25 for 5 nights parking never had that before at previous sites . Avoid this Hotel do yourself a Favour and go somewhere else .

I didn't eat at the hotel and my one night stay was just a bed for the night. I was not happy having to pay for the parking in addition paying for the rooms. It should be included in the price. I mean, how else would you get to a motorway services hotel?!

A decent sized room but the maintenance of the room hasn’t been maintained. The window didn’t close properly which meant the noise from the traffic was extra loud (we were expecting some noise but not that loud). The remote control for the tv didn’t work, the standnext to the bed was missing so couldn’t put anything next to me and despite it being a room for 3 people we only had 2 towels.
