I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Excellent price, right downtown, and the rooms are beautiful— basically a full apartment with kitchen. The staff, especially Cheyla, went out of her way to help us and made sure our stay was perfect. The room was secluded with a HUGE terrace — we honestly forgot we were in a hotel. We didn’t want to leave!

The room was "clean" on first look, but old. Once you took a second glance, though, you saw that there was residue in the shower and toilet, and that the cleaning crew missed the previous guests' trash in the bathroom. The AC unit was OLD and squealed through the night, leading to a completely restless evening. I stayed here because I trust the Marriott name but now I will think twice about that. I also discussed my stay with others who have not stayed at this Sonder but have stayed at others and they all had a similar experience to mine. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sonder Georgetown C&O. The space was clean, comfortable, and family-friendly, with great amenities and a nice private balcony. It’s in a great location—close to shops and attractions. Customer service was helpful, and although there were a few minor maintenance issues, they didn’t affect our experience. Would definitely stay again!
