Great location but can be busy on the roads outside. The hotel is on the side of a large roundabout but there is temporary parking outside for you to check in. Check in was easy and staff were friendly and patient with questions. Rooms were very spacious and beds were comfortable.

Great location, great hotel. Only issue was the parking, nothing to do with the hotel, but the car park lift was not working, therefore carrying suitcases down several flights of stairs was not fun. Therefore, using the hotel to drop or collect luggage before and after is advised, if possible, just in case.

I stayed at Radisson Blu Birmingham in Room 1410 from Tuesday to Thursday this week. I often choose Radisson hotels when travelling because they are usually a reliable and comfortable option worldwide, so I was quite disappointed with this stay. The hotel feels quite dated compared to what I normally expect from the brand. The air conditioning unit in the room was very noisy, which made it difficult to sleep at night. The bathroom also seemed outdated with a bathtub-style shower. The biggest issue, however, was the water temperature, which fluctuated randomly between hot and cold during the entire stay. The water pressure in the shower was also very low. On the morning of my departure there was no hot water at all, which meant starting the day with a cold shower. Another inconvenience was the lack of power outlets next to the bed. The only option available was an older USB port, which is not very practical for charging modern devices overnight. Considering the price level typically associated with a Radisson property, I believe guests should be able to expect a higher standard. Unfortunately, based on this experience I would struggle to recommend this hotel or stay here again if this reflects the current standard.

Helpful and friendly reception staff. Olivia was fantastic. Loved the free drink with courtesy of signing up with Raddisson. Rooms nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Free bottles of water also a nice touch. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Hotel is lovely and in a great location, with nice views of the city, unfortunately the bar only had one staff member during a busy period and this caused a mix up and delays. The gym/leisure area was actually closed for refurbishment. No mention of this on the hotel website or at check-in. This was an important factor in deciding to stay here so we were dissapointed. Also no plug sockets near to the bed (room 1613). In fact the only sockets were under the TV next to the skirting, meaning difficulty in using the hairdryer or charging phones etc. Old USB sockets are next to the bed, but these are essentially obsolete.
