This was our second stay at Budget Inn. The room was comfortable and better than our last stay. Unfortunately, their ice machine was not working which is important for long travellers. Having a supply of ice for guests in such a situation does not seem like a difficult task. Fortunately we were able to get ice from a guest without travelling to a store. They saved the day and made the stay enjoyable. Except there was no telephone and we didn’t have a working mobile.

I know the name of this accommodation is best budget, we think they could drop the word "best". The bathroom was a bit smelly probably because the extractor fan didn't work and there was mould on the grout. The shower curtain pole was very dirty. The bed was clean and comfortable though.

Terrible

We got as far as walking into the room, turned around and left. We did not stay, it was very run down and not clean at all. The carpet was disgusting and had stains all over it. There seemed to be long term low renters, we didn’t feel safe to leave our vehicle in the parking lot. Hotels.com was unavailable to try to get our money refunded. We won’t book thru them again either.

Avoid if at possible

Without a doubt the dirtiest motel I’ve seen in Canada. Cigarette burns on the beds, filthy floors, room stank, mold in the bathrooms and windows. The location is the only thing going for it but I would have been more comfortable sleeping in a car on the side of the road.
