We were placed in a room that didn’t lock and given a wedge that didn’t work because of the tile floors. They were “full” so we couldn’t move rooms. We were told we would get a refund due to the unlocked room but by the time morning came they refused to refund us.

Pros: the room was recently remodeled, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The two staff people we had contact with were both polite and as helpful as they could be with what they had to work with. Cons: The hotel was under a facelift (inside and out), so it was a really bad presentation (my wife asked me when we drove up, "Didn't you check the reviews?"). A number of things were blamed on the remodeling going on (no Wi-Fi and none of the TV channels working. There were almost no amenities--one set of towels in bathroom; no coffee pot in room or lobby. In the morning, there was nothing offered as a breakfast option except for a coffee pot (only regular offered) that didn't seem to be plugged in, so it wasn't hot. There were other minuses, but you get the idea.

We had booked our stay for 2/10 Thur 2/26. But we left early. When we booked in our room the toliet did not flush, The shower would not turn on, and we only had cold water in the sink. Plus at 10:30 the fire department came which Disrupted our sleep. So we asked to changed rooms. We were able to get a different room. Our room was never cleaned ! We did ask for cleaning and fresh sheets and towels. All we got was towels. We are asking for a credit For the 11 days that we left early.The front desk did know about everything and said they could not do anything and to contact Hotels.com and have contact their Corp office
