Caos en el ingreso y egreso al Cid.

Muy mal el manejo en cuanto a la aplicación Hotels.com con la recepción del hotel Yo puse mis datos en la aplicación y en Cid tenían otros datos (edades) por lo que tuve que desembolsar casi $14000 para que me dejaran entrar y a la salida aún no les llegaba el pago que hace la aplicación al Cid Tampoco nos dejaban salir y se nos hacía tarde para el vuelo

Los restaurantes son muy bonitos y el personal amable

Tienen albercas grandes y mucha área verde

Mal trato de personal en restaurante japonés

Todo excelente en excepción del personal del restaurante japonés, te apresuran a comer el gerente o capitán súper altanero y grosero, al igual que el mesero Juan cero respetuoso y muy poco agradable. Derramaron agua al servirme y no lo limpiaron, solicité limpiaran y mucho después el mesero agarró mi servilleta y limpio. Tuve que pedir una servilleta limpia. Terrible

I really liked the property, the very friendly staff, the gardens, the food, I liked everything. 100% would recommend the hotel because you can walk freely and use all the pools in the 3 hotels or Comoeen any of the 3 hotels without restriction. What I did not like was the head of security, who was very polite and very despotic with the guests and with the drivers who pass through the clients to get them to the airport, I would only give him some Training on how to treat the clients. I understand that he is doing his job, but he does not have to treat clients badly, there is a way to speak with respect.

This was our third visit to this resort. The Italian restaurant in the Marina El Cid lobby was absolutely excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. We were already aware that the sea isn’t very clean during this season, so the smell was understandable. There was an overwhelming amount of seaweed, and we felt bad for the staff who had to clean it up every day. My son really wanted to go canoeing despite the seaweed, and we were very grateful that one of the staff members helped make that happen. The only disappointing part of our stay was the nighttime entertainment. Unlike in previous years, where there were fun shows for kids, this year’s performances were boring and uninspired. We ended up skipping them entirely and heading to the pool at night instead. Also, the showtime was changed from 8 PM to 9 PM, which was too late for many kids, who just went back to their rooms because they were too tired. This resort is still one of my favorites, and I’d love to come back again next year. However, unless the nighttime shows improve and the water quality at the Marina El Cid pool gets better, we may not return.

Best place with 9 restaurants. Plenty of good food and the staff is awesome too. Lots of swimming pools around the hotel. The place is huge but the can move you around with the golf carts.

Property was well maintained and had an air conditioned enclosed lobby (huge plus). Main buffet was small and food was decent. All of the restaurants restaurants we went to were great. The lunch at Dalia’s or the Mexican restaurant were awesome (honestly would return just for that). No issues using the amenities at the sister resorts. Would definitely stay here again. Only drawback was the large amount of sea weed at the beach, but that seemed to be affecting the whole Maya Riviera.

The staff was super friendly and helpful… Moises the concierge at the lobby of El Cid was such a huge help to us. He is so awesome… the food was great and the rooms were clean…we look forward to going back soon… absolutely loved it!

My family enjoyed all three properties of El Cid. We ended up moving to a swim up room at Ventus from Marina. Although it was the same style room, 1-bedroom, Ventus was much more updated. Never had an issue getting a seat at the pool and I believe they were sold out that same week. Dinner reservations were taxing, missed two nights of a sit-down dinner because nothing was available. No biggie as they do have buffet options.

The resort itself and service were fantastic. It's a beautiful resort with all sorts of fun things to do and areas to hang out. I would definitely recommend. The downside was the poor wi-fi. As a business owner we always have to work on some level and it was a challenge on the property, but no when we were on excursions?? They gave us two codes and they only worked for the single device you entered the code on. We asked for another and were charged $60 for each additional code and they were all crappy. I'm not trying to be negative, but we live in an era where wi-fi should be a given and not charged for, especially since we were Platinum Club level.
