i didn't take a shower b/c the shower basin had a shallow lip. Water would have been all over in the bathroom. The hotel description stated they served Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast. They did not. the front desk person laughed and said they hadn't in years. I booked this hotel b/c of it. There was no desk there was room for one. It was a cute hotel and clean.

Room was clean but HOT I was able to lower the temperature. The gal at the front desk kinda gruff at the start but she was actually very nice I think she was just busy when we arrived. I gave 4 stars only because I don’t really ever give 5 Bit expensive for the accommodations .

A good place to take a shower, but not much else. The environment is very noisy-car doors slamming, loud music playing at night, traffic up and down the steps in the mornings. The website posts claims of continental breakfast, but the only thing served in the mornings with donuts, which were very good and coffee and juice. One of the staff members said they don’t know why they have that posted ( continental breakfast) on the website. The designated pet area is a plus. I would not stay here again.

The room was clean, the staff were friendly. It is a very old motel and showed some were and tear so just be aware of that. The donuts offered in the morning were fantastic! Location was great for accessing the historic downtown area.

Adorable details like Moon Pies & RC in each room don't make up for a postage stamp bathroom or little things like the back of the bathroom door looking like it's never been wiped clean before. Staff was great, including when they had to bring a plunger to our room.

It was clean and comfortable. However, it was constantly noisy due to the busy road in front. Also, the bathroom fan was quite loud, and I couldn’t find a switch to turn it off. Additionally, having better blackout curtains would make the stay even more enjoyable.

The decor is so cool. Best pillows I ever slept on! I need the brand name. Clean, safe and comfortable room with nice staff. The only reason not a 5 star was the bathroom fan would not cut off and drove me crazy at night. Thank you.
