A beautiful lodge and nature experience. Food was excellent- great smashburgers and BLT. There is so much to do! Zip lining, sightseeing, nature walks, family fun or a romantic getaway. I went solo and felt truly cared for!

Everything was just about perfect. The views were breathtaking. Waking up to the sunrise through my eyelids was magical. The overall vibe of the architecture promotes relaxation and blending with the natural surroundings. The staff were great. The cocktails were incredible. The dinner was good, with very fresh vegetables. The hot tub was beautiful and nice to have one that is adults only. My only complaints would be there is no vegan hot breakfast option, not even hashbrowns. Not having that in an upscale stay is ridiculous. They can certainly afford to offer Just Egg, Violife, and Beyond/Impossible products for the prices they charge. With these replacements, there's no need for hiring special talent as they cook and taste exactly the same. The other complaint would be the jets are broken in the hot tub. They are loose and whirl around in circles hosing you in the face if you get within a few feet of them. Luckily, there were some spots to sit that were far enough away from them and we got up early enough in the morning that we were able to soak before anyone made the mistake of turning them on.

My husband and I love Skamania Lodge! We got married here, so it's a very special place for us and we enjoy visiting from time to time. This was our first time going to the Waterleaf Spa for massages and it was one of the best massages of my life! The outdoor hot tub is glorious, too. The lobby and grounds are beautiful, the pool, spa, and fitness center amenities are very nice, and it's a peaceful environment with excellent staff. We always enjoy our stays here.

Pros: All around really nice staff , the indoor pool was really a hit with my kids! The food was good and had reasonable pricing considering there isn’t much else nearby to eat. The gym was also really nice! And they allow dogs! The building and location is beautiful and very kid friendly. I love the toy box outside in the grass area and the scavenger hunt that is offered near the coffee bar. Cons: I thought it was weird that they regularly don’t put out enough coffee at the coffee bar. The $15 per night parking fee was also unexpected and seems like a business tactic to keep their room prices artificially lower. And the double beds are really tight for families with small children that are sharing. Overall though i think the pros outweighed the cons, so we would definitely consider coming back.

We liked the comfortable room and the plushy Sasquatch in it. The view was not good though. The food in the restaurant was actually really amazing, but the service was terrible. One of the servers composed we ordered lattes with our food that she would have to walk down the hall to get them, and she was really busy. We said no problem; we can go without. Then she came back and said she would go ahead and do it to make us happy and get a good tip, so we thanked her. But then she never brought them…. Weird! Our other server was sort of rude too, which is surprising and unusual for a high-end resort. We enjoyed the guy singing by the big windows in the evening, and we liked the outdoor fireplace. We were annoyed that they charged us $25 to park there. It is a huge lot, and we paid over $400 for 2 rooms, so forcing us to pay for parking was a blatant money grab because the lodge is in the middle of nowhere, so you have to drive there, and there is nowhere else to park. I’ve never had a remote lodge charge me to park, anywhere in the world, and I stay in lodges everywhere all the time. Pretty lame and just that cost you a star in my rating.

We took our honeymoon here in 2023 and decided to come back for our 3rd wedding anniversary this year and it was wonderful! The staff is so kind and the restaurants are amazing! The lodge really makes you feel right at home with how clean and cozy the rooms are. We highly recommend Skamania Lodge.

We had such a wonderful weekend stay! The kids absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. The restaurant food was delicious, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the sauna, jacuzzi, and pool were all perfect. Highly recommend!

The bathtub had some discoloration, not sure if it was stained or the beginning of mold. The rubber non slip mat was also discolored. We had dinner in the Cascade dinning room and had a disappointing experience. Overall not worth the time, money or energy.

My husband and I travel to a new place in Washington every year to visit on our birthdays and anniversary, which are all in January. This year was my turn to pick a place. My husband was elated and so surprised. Everyone was friendly, the food was tasty, and the Lodge is squeaky clean! The grounds are beautiful! There was an issue with the Riverview I was looking forward to but the room had a hot water issue, so we were given a forest view with a fireplace. (We had our choice to keep the riverview) It was toasty warm. The only thing I would say is that the bed could have been a little more comfortable, as my husbands back and my hips were achy each morning. We would definitely come back to Skamania Lodge! Thank you!
