Superb customer service! We had our honeymoon trip at Amsterdam and stayed at the Tribe hotel for 5 nights. When we entered the room, what surprised us was the warm welcoming treats - a box of macaron with a champagne, together with a handwritten card by the hotel staff! We really felt so heartwarming❤️
We unfortunately found some problems in the room, but the counter staff swiftly helped us to change the room and also kindly offered a complimentary breakfast to us as compensation though we had not asked for it. This excellent customer service is really impressive! What a pity that we forgot to ask the staff her name. She was a friendly and pretty girl who always wore a sweet smile on her face. She also cared about our experience in the new room. How attentive she was! We really wanna express our thankfulness to her and also other staff who provided assistance to us during our stay!
The room was modern and spacious enough. We loved the design and the atmosphere. There were lots of food offered in the breakfast buffet and the environment is good and relaxing.
This hotel is definitely the most impressive one among our 14-day stay in the Europe and we would choose this hotel if we visit Amsterdam again! Thanks Tribe for giving us such a good memory during our honeymoon🩷

Very bad experience
The receptionists there were unbelievable bad,, not helpful at all,, it was very strange how unprofessional they were,, although the hotel is nice & the rooms are really good but I will never recommend it

Good hotel
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is actually situated at Noord just outside of Amsterdam.
The hotel was contemporary clean and the staff were very helpful. The hotel was in excellent condition with modern rooms and bathrooms.
One criticism would be the sofa bed which was extremely uncomfortable.
As a family of 3 we shared our room and the sofa bed was not suitable for a 16 year old to sleep in comfort.
The area of Nord has good facilities for eating, in particular in the station at Noord which has a food hall (market 27) which has a wide variety of offerings such as chinese, bakery and dutch food etc available.
Nord to Amsterdam Central Station is a vey easy journey. Its approximately 2 stops on the Metro, about 20mins. Cost on the Metro is approx 3 euros for a single journey or 9 euros for a day ticket. We purchased a 3 day pass for 21 euros each, which gave easy unlimited access around Amsterdam on Metro and Trams.
Noord itself is a little run down, but its quiet as is the hotel.

Very disappointed - unclean & inattentive staff
I had high expectations for this place but was disappointed. On arrival, I entered my room which wasn’t properly clean (someone’s gals eyelashes were lying on the coffee counter behind the mug!!).
Service was slow at the bar & restaurant, with staff not really bothering or seeming to care.
The second day I returned to my room at 5pm which hadn’t been cleaned. I pressed the ‘please clean me button’ and 2 people showed up 10 mins later. I asked if I could have 2 minutes to put on my shoes to leave to let them clean and they said No!! As I was the ‘last room’.
Definitely won’t be back. Such a shame, as the building has such great potential.
