We absolutely loved our stay at NAU São Rafael Suites in September. Everything — and I mean everything — was PERFECT! We spent peaceful days swimming in the sea, reading books, and enjoying the stunning design of the hotel as well as the natural beauty of Albufeira and the Marina. Our suite (105, on the top floor) was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed — it truly felt like a home away from home. The views were incredible, and the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. A special mention goes to the wonderful staff: incredibly warm, friendly, and always helpful. Their hospitality made all the difference and elevated our experience from great to unforgettable. If you're looking for a peaceful environment, large rooms with amazing views, and genuine hospitality, you must stay here. Massive thanks to the entire management team for a truly memorable vacation. We will definitely be back!

Very disappointed with this hotel definitely not 5star that’s for sure where do we start not enough bar staff small bars ran out of glasses and not even that busy so can’t get a drink in glass restaurant didn’t have much choice and not enough variety couldn’t even get a bottle of water on all inclusive or dark rum wasn’t aloud on all inclusive never known anything like it staff on bar in and out miserable and most of time 1 serving so having to Que for a while as they don’t hurry rooms were nice and spacious and were cleaned but didn’t even get water in room or have a kettle very poor all inclusive and definitely wouldn’t go back

Beautiful location, but poor maintenance, safety hazards, lack of privacy, limited food options, and subpar service make this hotel fall short of five-star expectations. Would not recommend. We stayed at this hotel over the Christmas break, and while the location was stunning right by the sea the overall experience was disappointing for a property advertised as five-star. Lovely seaside location, peaceful and scenic, but Bathrooms lacked locks, which is a major privacy issue for families or groups. Public toilets also had broken locks, leaving only one functional cubicle. Shower taps were incorrectly labeled (hot/cold reversed), posing a burn risk. Shower hoses couldn’t handle water pressure, causing water to splash everywhere. Long queues even during off-peak season. Food variety was poor repetitive menus with limited options, mostly fish. Basic items like hot water, forks, and knives frequently ran out. Some staff seemed disengaged, and the manager was unhelpful and unfriendly, you could tell and hear they were complaining about her. Not good infront of dinning visitors but one can understand and also relate as they were really trying to help people to settle in for their meals but the kitchen staff and prior arrangements must have disappointed them and any proper prep would not have been done properly to avoid this disorderliness. Broken locks, inadequate bathroom lighting, and poor attention to detail throughout the property, its a facilities manager job to look into

We stayed at the hotel as a group of friends in a triple connecting room, room 209. As we were getting closer to the trip, I was a little bit concerned about some of the negative reviews recently left on Google reviews; given the price, I didn’t go in to expect a platinum five star hotel, and in all honesty, I set my expectations a lot lower! I needn’t have done this, we had a fantastic stay, Thursday to Sunday. The aesthetics as you approach the hotel had already started to put my mind at ease. The triple room was amazing and surpassed our expectations, three en suites, a huge balcony spanning the width too, we loved it. Clean, with everything you could need. No noise from adjoining rooms at all. We had the premium all inclusive option which meant we had access to the spa, premium drinks options and could dine one night for free at the a la carte restaurant. Would return and highly recommend!
