Enjoyed my stay, only for 1 night as was passing through for work reasons. Staff excellent and friendly, nice outdoor seating area, food excellent, fair prices at the bar, good parking, fast check in even though they had a coach load of guests arriving just before me. A long established grand hotel, which although a little tired, is very well presented and room was really clean and spacious Staff were very friendly, polite and extremely helpful. You felt their genuine desire that they wanted you to enjoy your stay. Food was exceptionally good, both dinner and at breakfast. With a wide range of choices it was all too easy to over-indulge. Best Sticky Toffee pud we have had.

This is a Beautiful old 120 year old hotel with all of its charm and its great that its running Most get gutted out and turned into super expensive and exclusive rooms without any thought to the community Theres not many treasures like this left these days I bet the locals are so glad of that too Its a lovely friendly place with very friendly staff and excellent meals I wish you all the best 👍
