Pros: - great views - clean room ( some bugs around but understandable is the forest) - comfortable bed - great weather Cons: -water pressure very very low in the shower - WiFi spotty - no local TV you need to connect to Netflix if you wish to watch something. -shampoo and body wash do not foam at all. Food was ok - the selection is not great lots of American dishes when you go there to try more salvadorean food. Husband got sick after one dinner unsure if it was the meat or the beans.

Loved this place to death! The staff was amazing. The views were to die for. They offer an atv tour there which I took part in. The only thing that I would say is there is no ventilation in the bathroom which make it a bit rusty. I would still stay here though.

The power, water, & internet were down during our stay. The bath towels looked dirty & dingy & of course there wasn’t any hot water so super cold showers were terrible. We ordered room service & the food was subpar & expensive. Additionally, the only way to communicate with the staff is on WhatsApp. We only spent one day of our three day stay at this hotel. We couldn’t possible bare the idea of staying longer.

Beautiful, tranquil getaway - fantastic views, great service, wonderful room and good food. Showers were a little cooler than our liking - but otherwise an amazing vacation spot. The afternoon clouds settling over the property was absolutely magical!

Casa 1800 Cerro Verde was absolutely amazing. The location has 360 stunning views, great eating options, lots of outdoor activities to do, and it is also very relaxing. My only regret is not staying longer.

We loved the view! The room's safe wasn't working and was removed from the wall unfortunately. There was also nowhere to hang clothes, towels or other fabrics in the room. The volcano view was stunning and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was good. We did have to wait a bit for our food and we did have to remind the waiter a couple times for certain things. We didn't have anyone check to see if we wanted a second beverage during our meals. The typical breakfast and French toast were our favourites!

The food was a 6/10. I was also informed that you have to be in by 8pm or they will lock the gate & you may not be able to enter after which is understandable because after dark trying to get up the hotel is risky. Other than that the location is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, the bed was super comfortable and the view from the room was breath taking

Fantastiskt utsikt och de är väl de hotellet är känt för! Men annars fanns det inte så mycket mer att göra. De har väldigt mycket yta så de har stor potential. Men vi stannade en natt och va ändå skönt att bara vara och ladda batterierna med naturen.

The hotel is stunning. Great architecture. The restaurant is also very nice. CAUTION - Since it's located in a national reserve, you must be in before 8PM. The forest service will close the gate. I arrived at 8:02PM and the gate was closed. Fortunately one side was open so I went through there. Account for the windy and steep roads. Also, the rain. You will be able to leave until the park open up. After 10PM the front desk closes so you will be dealing with security. Our room faced the volcano which was amazing. The room are spacious and clean.

Seguridad deficiente, sin atención al cliente

En nuestra habitación no había una cerradura hacia el cuarto contiguo, lo que implicó desconcierto e inseguridad por nuestra parte durante toda la noche, ya que la otra habitación estaba ocupada. Cuando fuimos a la recepción después de cenar, ya no había nadie que nos pudiera ayudar. Asimismo, tampoco se nos ofreció ningún tipo de ayuda a través del servicio de WhatsApp, ya que nuestros mensajes fueron ignorados. Lo más indignante de todo fue que, a la mañana siguiente, se insinúa con desfachatez que habíamos sido nosotros quienes rompimos y quitamos la cerradura. Por la mañana, el joven de recepción mostró cero compasión, puesto que ni nos dio explicaciones, ni ofreció una compensación razonable para solucionar este desagradable hecho. Hasta el día de hoy, nunca recibimos una respuesta coherente, ni disculpas por parte del hotel. Después de las 20h ya no se consigue nada de comer o beber, no hay ni restaurante ni bar abierto. No se puede comprar ni una botella de agua.
