The most important aspects that I look in a hotel are safety, comfort, and quietness. 7 Gables was missing the last two as there were people talking loudly outside my bedroom and the owner does the checking of guests near my room. It’s a matter of common sense to keep the voices down or much better, to move the office for checking away from any rooms. I even had to turn the TV volume up as I could not hear it because of the voices and laughter outside my room. Add the lack of comfort of the bed. I didn’t sleep well as it had a dimple/sunk mattress. It was an overused and noisy mattress. The lady who owns the place is kind, the downside was the inconsiderate people staying there.

It was the best of both worlds: convenience and tranquility. This place is a true gem, and the hosts’ genuine care and attention to detail made all the difference. As fotos não condizem com a realidade do hotel. Na verdade é um Bed and Breakfast disfarçado de hotel. São muitas tralhas acumuladas no hotel. Nada lembra o que foi mostrado nas fotos. Se você gosta de um lugar aprazível e com boa infraestrutura, esse não é o lugar. É uma coisa familiar transformada em negócio. O café da manhã é pobre. Não recomendo.

Breakfast started at 7:30 am ... if you got there at 8 ... no coffee and most food was gone ... both mornings ... no one there to monitor or replenish. The same dirty cup on the 1st table as you entered ... both mornings

Not worth staying there

Too far from Downtown and not worth the money to stay there. They could not even fix the sink after being told of problem straight away.

The place needs a little TLC, regardless of age, floors need. Cleaning, all kinds of stuff under bedroom chair when moved. Tub had 4 of the 6 jets broken. Nothing that can’t be fixed with effort

Only good thing was the breakfast. Lady was nice. Man seemed to hate his job. Laundry room was awful. Windows had open spaces that let in cold night air. All the rooms were like part of an old cluttered house. Not billed as a BnB.
