I liken this hotel because it is near the beach, shopping mall is just next to it and many attractions and eateries within short walking distance but I hate the traffic jam leading to the hotel.

This hotel at Kuta is at the center of action in Bali. Close to airport (10-15min taxi), beach 5min walk, scoot hiring, restaurants and many shops. Buffet at Yello hotel is of huge choices at very reasonably price at A$15. You can make base here and explore other parts of Bali on certain days at your choice, given traffic is horrendous, which can be 5km/hr.

Only cons were if the mall is not open you have to take the long way around outside the mall to get in and out. Pretty safe walking around though.
