Probably one of the better hotels in town!

A short drive to Copper Peak, which was the main purpose of our trip, this hotel was a wonderful stay. Room was adequate enough for our weekend and was fairly close to shops, gas stations, and decent food options! Would more than likely come stay here again when coming to visit the UP.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by the amazing, friendly staff who made every interaction pleasant and welcoming. The continental breakfast was exactly as expected, simple, fresh, and a good way to start the day. However, the pool area left a bit to be desired. The pool itself was very cold, and the air in the area made it hard to breathe, which took away from the relaxation I was hoping for. The hot tub was also disappointing; it was too cold and looked quite rundown, which didn’t match the otherwise positive atmosphere created by the staff. Overall, the excellent service and decent breakfast made up for the shortcomings in the pool area. With a few improvements to the pool and hot tub, this hotel could easily earn a five-star rating!

When I arrived, I loved how organized the front desk was so it was quick and easy to check in. We stayed only one night, but it was quiet, relaxing after a long car ride. I enjoyed the hot tub. It was very clean and professional and then I also enjoyed the waffles the next morning. Definitely gotta check into the waffle batter all in all. We’ll be back for another trip.
