Super tolles Hotel. Nur 10 Minuten Fußweg zur Station Geilo. Check in / out Schalter super sehr einfach zu bedienen, Schwimmbad & Whirlpool super 👍 Pizzeria im Hotel unten ist zu empfehlen! Pizza schmeckt lecker.

Nice stop over place in the summer.

Lovely little town we stayed in on the way back to Oslo from Bergen. There are some nice lake-side walks out the back of the hotel complete with English translated info plaques. We didn't get a chance to check out the bakery, which seemed like a highlight. The food in the restaurant was good, but not the best we had on the trip by any means. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Note that the 2 twin bed option still as the twin beds attached and sharing a single mattress. So if you truly need separate twin beds... you may need to get a little pushy.

Ok majoitus Geilossa

Otimme huoneen Geilosta hyvän sijainnin vuoksi, huone oli kompakti, siellä ei ole silitysrautaa tai vedenkeitintä eikä muitakaan tavallisia hotellihuonemukavuuksia. Myöskään roskakoria ei ollut mikä hieman ihmetytti. Vieressä menee tie jonka liikenne kuuluu huoneeseen. Itsepalvelu vaataanotto toimi hyvin.

Enregistrement automatique dans un hôtel fantôme. Pas de bouilloire dans les chambres. Un lit et c’est tout. Heureusement que la piscine et le sauna viennent sauver notre soirée

Vi havde problemer med den elektroniske indtjekning på det ubemandede hotel, men efter et telefon opkald kom der hurtigt en venlig personale os til hjælp og problemet var er forkert registering af mit efternavn, problemet er bare, at det kan man ikke se, når man indtjeningen er elektronisk.

It was off season so there was no one on site. Checkin is all digital and worked seamlessly. Had a bit of trouble finding the room and was only stairs down to the lower rooms. Rubbish bin had not been emptied from prior guest. Studio was very comfortable and had everything you could need.

No welcome or goodbye, no physical reception, bad bed, dark room not well cleaned, water remaining in shower, restaurant that needs to be book hours in advance and poor quality of food served.

OK för en övernattning

Hotellet fungerade bra för oss som bara skulle sova en natt på vägen. Rent och fräscht, men trångt och tråkigt rum med smala sängar, så vi skulle inte välja det hotellet för en längre vistelse. Allt i hotellet är mörkt och murrigt. Frukost fick man köpa i bageriet på bottenvåningen, där personalen inte hade någon känsla för service och där priserna var höga. I övrigt träffade vi ingen personal, då det var self-service på incheckningen.

Første og sidste besøg!

Indtjekning på en ubetjent computer gik nemt og enkelt. Men, personalet kunne ikke anvise hvordan man kom til parkeringen bag hotellet. Generelt så det ud til at alle medarbejdere, var studerende på sommerjob. Værelset var tydeligt præg af dårlig/mangelfuld rengøring. Der var efterladte, beskidte, børnemåtter (dem man lægger under når man skifter ble) i en skuffe. Der kom nullermænd frem under sengen. Madrassen på sovesofaen havde store pletter (dog ikke overmadrass). Legerummet trængte til en opgradering (og oprydning) for nogle år siden. Der var bl.a. hul i væggen flere steder på legerummet, også ind til ledninger. Pool området var godt og overskueligt på en onsdag morgen kl 8. Desværre var sauna ikke tændt, som det ellers var angivet at den ville være.

This site was obviously understaffed. The model is set up to minimize staff, but it doesn't work in practice. The dining room staff were called upon to assist check ins. The dining room was understaffed. The staff made a mistake, which I understand. Mistakes happen, particularly when the staffing model inappropriately stretches them. But, we had to ask the staff for information instead of them communicating more directly with us. The result was that we felt like a pain in order to simply get a hot meal over two hours after ordering it. This advertised two dining rooms and that was not true. The parking was horrendous and there didn't seem to be a plan. We would have liked to use the pool and sauna, but the dining debacle took that opportunity from us. It's evident that this is a "start up" and that ownership/management believe that they can get by on minimal staffing. Start ups typically require a heavier leverl of staffing to deal with the inevitable issues. I did communicate our issue to management. I had to ask directly for a response and, now, am waiting for the general manager to get back from vacation. If you go, find another place to eat and park until they get their systems in place.
