The door handle was kind of tricky to get open. We couldn't find handsoap to wash our hands and used a Facial Beauty Bar we found as handsoap. While the beds were comfortable we kept being itchy during the night, I did not see any evidence of insects but we think it may be the detergent used or bleach, we had some kind of skin reaction to it. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The sheets did have some rips in them. But it didn't effect anything. Breakfast was great each day. I will say the only thing that really bothered us during our stay was the smoking from a neighbor room, each night our room would fill strongly of cigarette smoke for about 3 hours. My kids and I have asthma and its nasty anyway so next time we would be mindful of that and make request. We had a smoke free deluxe room but I suppose if nextdoor to a smoking room, it isn't really smoke free completely. While this hotel doesn't have all the frills, it is comfortable, clean, good food and budget friendly if you need a quiet place to stay close to all the fun you could want. Also it was fun interacting with the pigeons, ducks and geese on property. Our children loved them.

Room was clean. It appears to be a little older than surrounding hotels, however, you can’t beat the location! View of creek with ducks and geese in the morning. Rocking chairs on balcony, overlooking the creek. Staff was excellent.

we pretty much always stay here, rooms are clean and comfortable, we love the balcony over looking the river. staff is always nice and accomodating, breakfast is the basics but always hot and plenty of food. they even have server that will serve the eggs, sausage and potatos they also have cereal, biscuits, toast, pancakes.

Didn't realize you had ro drive to an office than drive a little longer to the room. Room was ok. The best part was the bed. Than you we had to drive back to the office part foe breakfast which we didn't eat. My husband and son was in line and didn't get waited on. They stood there for a food few minutes and so we left. We will not go back to this one. We have stayed in so many different ones and this was the worst experience we have ever had in the area.

Great room - a little confusing to find but the location is well worth it. Breakfast was ok - the ladies working may have been having a bad morning but front desk was nice. . Only downside was that sheets on the bed were stained - we checked and they were clean but stains were a little off-putting. We will stay there again

They have a text messaging system where they allegedly provide you with service if you respond. When I replied about the live insects in my room, no response! I was killing bugs my first hour. Tried to contact them with no avail. It was like primitive camping. If they can’t respond via their own messaging service and phone, I wasn’t going to waste my time driving all the way back to the other side of the water just to have someone kill bugs when there were just more waiting. I finally ended up just leaving. Also, when I put the address into my GPS, it took my to a property across the river (which was the right location) but the actual check-in office is on the other side of the river. There was a sign in the parking lot saying where to check in. The only problem is, it still takes you to the parking lot you’re in on the opposite side of the water from the little check in office. Not fun, especially after dark. I always strive to support local hotels, but, in this case, I wish I’d paid a little more money and stayed at a national chain.
