patricia, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice place. We’re glad it was a Sunday night that we stayed because we suspect it could be noisy if the Madison Arms bar was open!
tony, 1-night trip

the attached pub/restaurant is convenient for a late arrival. Room 201 is considered one of the best rooms and was very clean and comfortable.

Nice location by metro station. Lively bar next door
Daniel, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was cold and the spare blanket had a couple crusty spots on it.
Sarah, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

This place is great for a simple place to sleep. But it's noisy, musty inside and beds are just a plain spring mattress.
Crystal, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Expensive for an older accommodation, likely due to concert in town. Staff very nice.
Yvette, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Not noisy at all

I was initially worried after reading about the noise, but the hotel turned out to be very quiet. I didn’t stay over a weekend, and they placed me in the room farthest from the pub, which likely contributed to the experience. Overall, my stay was great. Excellent location and excellent prices (Toronto hotels are so expensive!).
Julian, 2-night trip

What a wonderful find! Love this quirky hotel Room was clean and very nice Had a view of the pub Great service from staff
Lana, 1-night trip

Great location, comfortable, clean.
Barry, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely old building with character and charm. Some people might find it run down, but I thought it was part of the charm. One room we stayed in had old carpet smell, but you got used to it after a few minutes and rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Albertine, 2-night trip

Just book it.

It was cute, comfortable, in a great neighborhood. The hotel looks like it could be a hotel in The Shining. Extremely vintage and extremely well taken care of. There is a frat house next door, but they aren't obnoxious at all. There's a pub upstairs with decent food and good service.
