Hotel smelt damp. Threadbare carpets and my room hadn't been cleaned properly. Stained bed sheets and clearly hadnt been vacuumed for some time as there were lots of 'stuff' underfoot.

The way that the hotel is advertised is not actually what you get. It was very cheap to book a room for a night and it was clean, we slept well and in a nice quiet area. However, there is no bar, no restaurant and it is quite run down. It looks like it was turned over to another owner and they are struggling to run the hotel the way they want to. There was only one person on duty at the front desk; the lift was not working; the room was quite meagre. There is a pervasive smell of mildew in the reception. Also, do not expect an airport shuttle - you will need to get an Uber between £15-25 to the airport. Overall, perfectly serviceable for a single night stay before your flight.
