Check in was great as the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was good, nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice with a good selection. The hotel is well located in a quiet area and only a ten minute walk to the restaurants, theatre and Pavilion Gardens.

Beautiful tasteful hotel in fantastic green surroundings. Excellent customer service from all staff at the hotel and check was very easy and smooth. Beautiful spacious room and such a fantastic traditional staircase when entering the hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the dining area was so calming & pleasant. Excellent location to all attractions/amenities and very easy to walk on foot to reach the amazing shops, bars and restaurant's.. Loved the Buxton Baths. Highly recommend this hotel and I would come back to this hotel when I visit Buxton again and stay over. Excellent standards and 10 out of 10 ⭐️

This is a lovely hotel with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff who seemed to take a personal interest in all their guests. It was a pleasure to stay there and our room was beautifully comfortable and spacious. The only drawback was the long climb from the town centre if walking!

A tucked out of the way gem, Buxton night life not a long walk at all but opted for a £3.50 taxi to luciano's restaraunt (Also very nice), it was raining.. Hotel staff very friendly, nice to be greated with a smile and a sense of, Welcome! Very clean, comfy bed, had a long soak in the big deep bath much needed after my busy week. Breakfast was fab, and again the staff were very welcoming... in 2025 I stayed in over 70 Hotels, being a mancunnian it must be our northern pleasantness and without being biased Best Western Plus @ Buxton has been the most welcoming and pleasant by all the staff we encountered, even a smile and good morning from house keeping..In an era where underated service comes with a non compulsory service charge to your bill, this was the first time I gladly left a tip on departure..No service charge here though.. Thank you Best Western Plus @ Buxton we will be back. FYI service charges to any bill whether drinkingbor eating out are not compulsory, check your bill be you pay.. if you pay the service charge the goverment earns more tax!!
