Disappointing

It was a nice room but it only had three pillows in it The air conditioner kind of worked and we had someone beat on our door between 12:00 and 2:00 in the morning and the breakfast area is nothing like the picture so we were not happy and the name of the hotel is not what it is on hotels.com

I checked in with a friend of mine on a baseball trip. We had children with us. It was clean from the moment we checked in the man running the front desk, I guess the owner, was very off. The vibe from the moment I checked in was uncomfortable. But we tried to tough it out being that we only needed to sleep and wake up to head back to the field. We took the kids to the pool right after arriving. The guy was staring at us the whole time. Giving off the idea he really didn’t want us in the pool. It was to the point the children were asking why he was watching them like that. We walked back to the room and loaded everything up. The room was smelly and unclean. The entire vibe from this place was unsettling. I contacted the third party company who advertised this place and they couldn’t help get money back. When checking out the man was very rude. Asking me when checking out “who are you afraid of?”. We drove 45 mins away and paid again for a new room. It wasn’t worth the what ifs. Please if you are traveling through this area for any reason DO NOT STAY HERE.

Half roll of toilet paper. Door knob on bathroom hanging half off. AC / Heater filter hadnt been clean in 6 or more months. Heater didnt blow heat. All the above should be a priority regardless the price. They were already knocking on my door before 11am for us to leave.

Is the urine smell in the room complimentary .

This place is a real live nightmare. From the eccentrically tiny pool , to the had to switch rooms 3 times due to none of the electrical or plumbing working . Mr. Denis the apparently over worked , unappreciated angry , front desk clerk snuck in a pet deposited after I had checked in for a few hours . Which by the way pet friendly is what they say in there advertising. Still haven't seen that unapproved transaction back in my bank account . So do your self a favor go a couple blocks down there's a Hampton inn . But if you like pop tarts and reheated coffee for breakfast Denis is your man .
