I have stayed here several times in the past 5 years, and have always given excellent ratings. Unfortunately, this time, there was a very large cockroach on the wall and I was bitten by something while in bed. I'm sorry to see this happen, however, I cannot in good conscience give a better rating. I showed the insect to the front desk and recommended they get that room treated. They sent me a request for rating, but there was nothing there when clicked on. I would have replied privately, however, they must have realized the problem and the links did not work. Again, sorry to have had that experience.

We stayed one night after a wedding next door. Check in was easy and quick. After the wedding we were moving the wedding items (flowers, tables, glassware, linens etc.) from the mansion into the bride and grooms room. The process didn’t take very long but I’m sure we were somewhat noisy. An hour later around 12:30AM we (myself, my husband and 2 other couples who were guests at the motel) met outside to walk over to Dennys. At the same time our neighbors car alarm started going off. Right away she came out to fix it. Before she made it back to her room the night clerk came around the corner screaming at me that we need to be quiet he’s getting calls from everyone on this side of the motel (most were wedding guests) I told him he can be a little nicer and it was (pointed to our neighbor) her alarm going off which she quickly fixed. He got more angry and said security was going to be called “this isn’t going to be a threaten staff situation” I told him I don’t know what he’s talking about nobody is threatening him we were leaving to go eat and the alarm was an accident. I did ask his name because I would of like to have it for my review but he refused to give it and again said I was threatening him and would get security. Had he been a little more polite and maybe asked what was going on I would have given a higher star rating but his approach and behavior was rude, unprofessional and not necessary. If the owner has security cameras this was Saturday the 21st around 12:35AM.
