The Hotel Degli Orafi has been a home away from home for my 2 weeks solo trip. As you can see I made some friends while I was there, especially Nicolette. This place is a perfect location to explore Florence and day trips. I will definitely return to this hotel when I go back to Florence. All staffs were very friendly and helpful!

It's always risky to choose a hotel in a foreign country from your computer, but I really lucked out on this choice. Hotel degli Orafi is a class operation in a perfect location. Right next to the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Museum, blocks from the Duomo and a seemingly endless choice of restaurants. I stayed for one night in a really cute little room. Small, but so well appointed. I left for Tuscany for a week and returned for 2 nights. They upgraded me to a suite which was a real surprise but much appreciated. This room was more Nordic in feel - very modern and clean but not as warm and cozy as my first room. The staff were all very helpful and professional during my stay and the breakfast buffet was very large and delicious.

Lovely, lovely place. Location is 100% perfect for solo women traveler. Beds are hard but when a mattress topper is put on, they are very comfortable. The only downside is that rugs and upholstery need replaced as they are worn out, and faded. But it was immaculately clean and a robe, slippers and mini refrigerator are supplied. All staff were incredibly accommodating. I hated to leave but want to return someday, and I plan to stay there again.

Breakfast had many options to choose from. Our room was very comfortable! The location is idea - almost everything you can imagine is walkable, even the train station! 3回目の宿泊ですが、立地がよくていつも選びます。 施設面でやはり老朽化を感じざるを得ませんでした。お風呂のバスタブの栓がうまく閉まらず、困りました。 またスリッパや、コーヒーカップ、ケトルなども要望して初めて持って来てもらえました。 以前は、スリッパも揃っていました。 フロントへの直接の電話も、番号が明示されていなかったので、直接出向くしかなかったです。 アプリで色々と説明を網羅していると思われているようですは、十分ではないです。 お部屋、静かではありますが眺望が良くないので 次回はバルコニーから川が見える側をリクエストしようと思います。 古き良きヨーロッパのホテルと認識して泊まれば、問題はないです。

The hotel was in an excellent location for exploring the best of Florence…just steps from the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Vecchio. Staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodated my request for an early morning airport transfer by taxi and even had a boxed breakfast to go upon checkout at 4:30 am. Rooftop bar views were magical!

Beware of storing your bags!

The hotel was kind enough to store our bags but one was damaged so badly that we had to buy another. We should have taken a photo of each of our bags prior to storing. When we showed the hotel manager he claimed we arrived with bags already damaged and refused to compensate us. It was an unfortunate ending to our stay
