Conveniently located hotel with great breakfast

2 nights stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was adequate, warm, good shower, comfy bed, quite, overlooked park area. 20 minutes walk to city centre with good transport options running past the hotel. Large and varied buffet breakfast was fantastic apart from the bacon which was over grilled scraps

A hotel for bus tours

Nicely situated at the Aker riverfront, conveniently located. That’s the nice part with the hotel. A hotel where you find bus tours, school trips accommodation. Room are just small rooms, was very hot and no air con.

Nice hotel close to center

Nice hotel close to the center. Room felt fresh and modern. Breakfast was great too. And a multistory car park next door for about 450nok per 24 hrs. Only negative was that there was no air conditioning and we arrived during a heat wave. But you can’t have everything :). Overall a great place to stay to explore Oslo

Hotel Review

On arrival first impression the hotel exterior is not bad, but when checking in had to wait almost one hour having been told the rooms were not ready being tired that was very annoying, generally speaking the staff were helpful throughout the stay. The reception area is very disappointing the carpets and furniture are all stained, old and unpleasant definitely need updating. The rooms although had great views bed was basic linen and bathrooms. The hot water kept going cold 5/10 breakfast was ok and enough of choice so that would deserve 6/10 internet needed rebooting a few times 5/10 transport access very good. Overall sum it all

Worst customer Sercive ever. Zero respect for companies. Didn’t want to fix wrongs. Room Was warm and they blamed express weather. This was after the heat wave was over. Overall bad and definitely not worth a visit at all.

Good location except for the ”zombies”

I missed that schampoo, balm, iron, small fridge and Safety locker wasnt standard in the room that normalt exist at other hotels. Unfortunately there were no AC which would have been really nice when it was about 30 degrees hot outside. The breakfast area was a bit chaotic as well. The location of the hotel was great, except for all the narchotic people who took their needles by this place provades from the goverment (?) They were like zombies around the block or in the grocery store and used needles on the streets. Not so nice especially travelling with kids.

Not excellent

We stayed for three nights. It was hot for Norway, so the room was hot and poorly ventilated. There were also some municipal works on the street around 2–3 am, which was outrageous. However, we were offered the option of changing rooms to the other side of the building. The bathroom lacked space for cosmetics and for drying two sets of towels. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but the tables were not properly cleaned, with crumbs and stickiness at times. If you are not familiar with the area, it can be unpleasant due to the organisations that help drug addicts being located nearby. Sometimes it felt unsafe, and we witnessed a couple being harassed in the street, so just be aware of that. The tram stop was right outside the hotel, which was very handy. Overall, I'd give it 3 stars.

Las habitaciones son extremadamente pequeñas así como las camas. El espacio es muy reducido para dos personas incluso en los baños. Nos cambiamos pagando más a una habitación que el hotel considera “superior” pero que realmente no se justifica dicha categoría en absoluto. Es verdaderamente pequeña. La ubicación es buena, se puede ir caminando a la estación de tren en 15-20 minutos así como al puerto. El desayuno tipo buffet es muy bueno y variado.
