The hotel lobby had one lamp on and no AC on. Felt very uninviting and COLD walking into the hotel. Got our room and it was locked from the inside AND a smoke alarm, low battery was going off. Requested a new room. The beds were VERY firm, the bathtub drain was backup so I was standing in 2inches of water every shower. Only 1 towel was provided (2 people stayed in the room). Sounded like people were doing WWE upstairs and the halls smelled of weed. A security hold of $100 was charged TWICE. The only good thing about the stay was the view of the Capitol building from our room and the distance to PeopleBank Arena. I highly recommend staying away from this hotel.

It was just a very decent/normal hotel that is not special or too bad. I didn’t know that I have to pay an 100 dollar deposit fee but it makes sense since it’s Hartford. Pros: - Bed is comfortable - check out time is 12, so which made us enough time to explore around the downtown and get lunch! - pretty huge room - it’s at really good location Cons: - there were mold on the shower walls - room kind of smelled like pool water? - floor is pretty dusty, so definitely wear your shoes/slippers - Air conditioner makes a pretty loud rusty noise - Parking has no security so I saw some homeless walking around there which makes me unsafe at one point

Staff was kind. No parking included. Had to park in a pay lot adjacent to the hotel. Hotel room view of the college across the street was gorgeous. Hotel room itself leaves a lot to be desired. Outdated. Stained mattress. Peeling paint on bathroom ceilings. Ice machine in hallways broken and leaking so there were puddles all over and hallways carpet was saturated. Ice machine beeped for the entirety of our 24 hour stay and was right outside the door to our room. Breakfast was also included. Mediocre at best.

Nice with a big fridge. Hotel right next to the train station. Bathroom constantly smelled of weed or cigarettes. The traffic was loud outside all night and you can hear the neighbours quite well. Did not get a blanket or duvet when we asked for it, just one thin sheet and we had to sleep in our clothes to keep warm. The breakfast was okay, nice to have. If you are in a pinch this is a great place to stay. Do you want to sleep through the night? Stay at an another hotel.

The room was clean. I aways reclean. The breakfast was sub-par. Everything looked fresh but was not good. The potatoes were edible. People off the street go in for free breakfast. Its on the second floor. No security. No security at all. No key card need to access any floor from their parking garage. Staff was friendly.

Hotel is dated, tired and not particularly clean. Despite a lovely view of the State Capitol building, the area also felt run down and not safe. Although the breakfast was included it was very poor. I would not recommend staying here.
