The Von Trapp Lodge was idyllic. The entire area around the lodge is filled with hiking trails and quiet nature. We especially enjoyed the sheep and Scottish highland cows in the pastures on the property. We also took advantage of the family history tour. Everything was exceptional.

Beautiful and Iconic Place

We fell in love with Vermont! This hotel was high on my bucket list as a life long Von Trapp/ Sound of Music fan. The resort is itself is so cute, well maintained, amazing views and has tons of things to do. We went on the historical tour and got to meet Kristina Von Trapp, the granddaughter of the Captain and Maria (definitely the highlight of our trip). We definitely plan on returning.
