This hotel has a strong vintage vibe and is a bit worn around the edges, but in a charming way. More importantly, it’s very well cared for, clean, and tidy. Our room came with a simple kitchenette and a fridge, which meant we could pretend to be responsible adults and make our own breakfast.
Just 100 meters away is Sunny Folk Coffee, which serves ridiculously good coffee and should honestly be part of the hotel package. The beds are comfortable, and the only thing we heard at night was the AC. No traffic, no partying, no mystery noises — always a win.
Good restaurants are about a 300-meter walk away (along with a couple you should probably skip), and there’s a mall roughly 800 meters from the hotel that has pretty much everything. The location works well for exploring in different directions, and finding parking was easy, which already puts this place ahead of many others.
The area felt safe, and there are coin-operated washers and dryers if you need to do laundry or just enjoy watching machines spin. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice and inviting from a distance.
We booked through Hotels.com and arrived late after a 13-hour journey from Sweden. The reception closes at 6 PM, but the online payment and after-hours check-in were smooth, secure, and idiot-proof — always appreciated when you’re jet-lagged.
All in all, a great spot with lots of character and a relaxed vintage vibe. We liked it a lot and would happily stay here again.
