My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Front desk was very nice and bed was very comfortable. I would have given it 5 stars for cleaniness but the foot stool in front of the chair was horribly dirty. Everything else was great. We would stay here again.

An inexpensive way to stop in Gettysburg

The property was clean, safe, and reasonably priced, and for that I am immensely grateful. It appears to be undergoing some restoration, and that is needed. The main thing that I found disturbing was the original multi-stained carpeting in our room. If the property is refreshed, it will be perfect. All in all, I loved the layout of the property, especially the lovely outdoor porch with seating. It met our needs for a one-night stay.

Reasonable Price, Excellent Location

This hotel was easy to find and convenient to all of the sites in Gettysburg. Front desk and breakfast area staff were very friendly and attentive to needs. The hotel is a bit dated. The beds were uncomfortable and the air was under renovation and hard to adjust lower than 68F. We weren't staying in the hotel for long periods, as we were there to tour the sites. The hotel was very quiet and very strict with keeping noise to a minimum, which we appreciated after long days of touring.

Couch, chair, carpeting dirty and stained. Furniture Good Will grade at best. Location and free breakfast were the only highlights. CIS had wrong rooms booked; reserved two double suites, not standard, which they were able to correct.
