The stuff working there are the hi-light of the place, very very nice , smiling, helpful, welcoming etc… it was super safe and enjoyable for me and my daughter. This was not a tourist area. You could tell it was a local beach spot. The neighborhood has quiet a bit of trash but the people were very friendly and we never felt uneasy. The host actually picked us up from the train. Would recommend this area if you want some down time from all the tourist areas!

The AC was nice, staff was amazing but if you’re highly sensitive with allergies I would avoid this hotel currently. The rooms smelled slightly of sawdust and the cleaning product used had a heavy floral smell. Beautiful rooms but I had to leave due to my allergies going off nonstop.

Highly recommend the Hotel Étoile Saint Ferdinand!!! Check-in with Sylvia was fantastic - a very warm and friendly welcome, and kind, helpful advice and recommendations. Hotel was smallish but beautiful, good amenities including unlimited free water, tea & coffee. Rooms beautiful and location fantastic. Breakfast buffet consisted of hot & cold items and was delicious! Don’t hesitate to book this hotel.

The hotel itself is fabulous and everyone who works there was so kind and willing to offer help with anything it was truly a lovely experience. For that reason I give them wonderful reviews but the pillows are very thin and hard and the TV had an option to cast to but didn’t work which would’ve been nice since I don’t speak French and I would’ve just watched my cast to the TV. Something with the wifi wouldn’t adapt. The bed was very hard as well and I had a hard time sleeping but the linens were very nice and fresh. So I’m torn on my review and want to be honest but also do not want to diminish anyone who works there because the staff was just wonderful in every way. It’s very close to public transportation, nice shopping, good restaurants, and super easy to get Ubers and taxis. If you like a firm bed then you’ll love it all.

The staff is the best reason to stay here. It’s easy access to the metro and several options to eat. The room was nice but…the bathroom needs urgent attention. It’s not in good condition.
